Jamie is a highly experienced litigation consultant with 48 years of practice across the Family Court, High Court, and Court of Appeal. He leads all court-related work at BDM Lawyers, specialising in Family and Employment Law. His extensive family law practice includes complex relationship property disputes, the drafting of Relationship Property Agreements, and representing clients in parenting, contact, and relocation cases. He is also a Senior Lawyer for the Child.

He advises and represents both employers and employees in employment disputes at mediation or the Employment Relations Authority and Employment Court, and drafts or advises on individual employment agreements.

Outside of his legal work, Jamie enjoys staying active, dancing the Argentine Tango, and travelling. He is engaged to Christine and has three adult children and two grandchildren.
